I've always been slightly obsessed (probably an understatement) with makeup & beauty products.  I literally hear angels when I spot the nearest Sephora or Ulta.  My mom & I always joke that we aren't sure if Cleopatra made it to heaven but we sure hope so because she did all women a huge favor in the makeup arena!

AMANDA'S MUST HAVE PICKS

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation $ 37.00

My skin is super oily in my T Zone & prone to breakouts so I was uber excited to find out this had NO ingredients that causes acne!  Not to mention with it's 15 hour staying power I require basically no powder touch ups throughout the day. 

 

The Ultimate Lip Combo

YSL Rouge Volupte' in Sheer Candy: 32.00 &

NYC Glossy Lip Balm in #490 Persistent Pink: 7.50

I am admittedly a lipstick addict.  I am always on the hunt for the perfect combination.  After tons of trial & mostly errors I finally found the perfect mix of girly yet natural pink.  The YSL lip balm is a little pricey but worth the buy.  It is moisturizing yet not greasy, with the perfect tint of color (and tastes great too!).  The NYC lip stain is a great base (think bitten lip look) and stays put.  It is a bit drying but the YSL lip balm provides the perfect balance.

 

 

 



PAMELA'S MUST HAVE PICK'S

 

BENEFIT They're Real Mascara:  23.00

 

When I asked Pamela to give me her 2 must have beauty picks, without a moment's hesitation she blurted out Benefit's They're Real Mascara.  She says it doesn't clump, give you "spider lashes" or smudge during the day.  Plus you'll get lots of volume for those of us with less than modelesque lashes. With all those qualities in one small tube I am excited to give it a try myself!

 

 

URBAN DECAY'S NAKED EYE PALETTE: 50.00

 

Urban Decay's NAKED Eye Palette was Pamela's other Must Have pick.  She likes that you can go from day to night with wide variety of choices & that there are some "shimmery" choices.  Pamela loves anything with sparkle so this was no surprise!  I actually own this eye palette myself & although the price is a little steep I have everything I need in one tray & it stays on all day.  My personal favorites in the palette are Sin, Buck, Half Baked & Smog.

 

LAURA'S MUST HAVE PICKS

 

BIG SEXY WEATHER PROOF HAIR SPRAY: 18.00

 

Laura is by no means a "girly girl" so when we asked for her favorite Beauty products she just laughed.  Lucky for her, she's so naturally gorgeous she doesn't need a makeup arsenal, (and we hate her a little for it...just kidding (kind of))...so she decided to give us her must have hair essentials.  Her first pick was BIG Sexy Weather Proof Hair Spray.  It holds her naturally wavy locks in place & looks natural yet has the perfect amount of hold

 

 

KENDI DRY OIL Micromist:  24.00

If you have any volume or natural wave to your hair AT ALL, this is a must have!  This miracle in a bottle smooths & gives a healthy shine to even the driest, frizzest of locks. (available for Purchase at Southern Swank Salon 252-562-5906)

 

ALEX'S MUST HAVE PICK'S

 

VICTORIA'S SECRET Fresh & Clean Body Lotion:  15.00

Alex's first pick was Victoria's Secret Pink Fresh & Clean Lotion.  Alex wears this everyday to work & we literally all sniff her as soon as she walks in!  This stuff smells amazing!  It literally smells "fresh & clean" & Alex says she loves that it isn't greasy or overbearing like some scented lotions. 

 

 

 

NARS BLUSH IN Orgasm:  29.00

 

Alex's next pick was Nars Blush in Orgasm.  She says the color gives you a natural, flushed look which she loves.  I have gone to Sephora on multiple occasions to purchase this & they are always sold out so it must live up to the hype!
